Membership

In our Constitution we refer to residents as being members of the Association. All residents aged 18 and over who live on these two developments - Herdwick Gate & Herdwick Fold - are considered to be members of the Residents Association.
Your input is important
You, our members are the lifeblood of the Association. Without your input and participation we can't fulfil our aims.
For example, when we hold General Meetings we need a quorum of attendees to be able to conduct business.
In terms of where we focus our efforts the Committee needs to know what your priorities are. There may be some pretty obvious ones but it's important that we know what matters to you. So please tell us.
No membership fee - but donations welcomed
There is currently no membership fee and we have no plans to introduce one.
We do however invite members to make a voluntary donation to cover our minimal running costs and to enable us to put on certain on-site community events. The more we raise the more we can do for our community.
We are looking at a suggested donation of around £5 to £10 a year per household. If you wish to chip in a bit more that's great. And if you prefer not to that's equally fine.
Your donation can be made through a simple bank transfer (or a standing order) to:
Name: HGHF Residents Association - Shipston on Stour
Sort code: 30-99-50
Account number: 63096163
Reference: First line of your address.
If you would prefer to donate in another way please contact any of the committee members who will support you.
How to get in touch
If you’re new to Herdwick Gate or Herdwick Fold please feel free to get in touch and share your contact details so that we can keep you updated on all matters affecting the Herdwicks. Of course this is not compulsory - it’s entirely up to you, but it does mean we can alert you to any important developments.
If you have already shared your contact details with us but these have changed you can let us know your new details here.
Thank you
And finally a big thank you to all members who have been in touch.
We have received a number of messages of support. People have also turned out for meetings and helped us monitor work on landscaping, roads and pavements.
Working together we can make a real difference.
