Fundraising - Donations
At our inaugural General Meeting held on 12th September 2024 we discussed the annual cost of running the Association: things like website hosting, administration, stationery, Public Liability insurance, room hire costs etc. which we anticipate initially being around £500 per year. (The Committee officers are volunteers - they don’t get paid).
There was general support for the idea of voluntary donations from households in the region of £5 to £10 a year. You can donate more if you wish.
So that’s what we are inviting residents to do. If you’re in a position to help please consider making a small contribution.
Importantly, if we raise more than we need to cover our running costs we will use any surplus to organise on-site community events. We think it’s important not just to focus on the serious stuff that needs sorting out on our developments, but also to do some fun things to develop a great community spirit.
